Thankful Thursday – Count Away!

For this Thankful Thursday, Lynn has chosen the theme of “Counting Your Blessings”.

It’s really hard to remain discouraged when the list of blessings you already have starts to form in your mind. That is why we can shout, “Hallelujah Anyhow!” regardless of the circumstances.

Each of us have our own personal battles we fight every day. Everyday life is a challenge with the many things we have going on at once, not enough time to accomplish them all, and set-backs and roadblocks around every turn.

On deeper levels, intercession for individual assaults on loved ones, warfare with diseases of the body and mind, and combat with principalities and powers can break us down physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Dear sisters, we do not battle alone...and we can turn that pain into praise with a simple...

Thank you, Jesus...bless your Name....

Like Paul and Silas, our prison chains are broken by blessings...

So count away, child of God,

Count away!

I like how you started this post Karen. It really is hard to stay discouraged when we stop to think about all of the things that we have to be thankful for!!!!

Scary sometimes to shout hallelujah anyhow, but I agree.

I so agree with you when you said "we can turn that pain into praise with a simple... Thank you, Jesus...bless your Name...."

Remember, the Lord inhabits the praises of His people! When you praise Him, He manifests His power and shows Himself strong. He is sooo awesome!

Great post as always, Karen. I added you to my bloglist on my blog.
