The simple joy I am sharing this week is about a tiny little thing...
It is so small, that without close scrutiny, one might actually miss seeing it ...
I nearly missed this one...
This...
tear...
Not enough of them to spill over an eye lid or drip off a lash...but enough to catch just a glimpse in two glistening baby blues...before a head is turned...
Not just any tear...
This one didn’t happen because of heartache or happiness...but from an encounter with the One who places such high regard to our tears that He counts them, treasures them, and stores them in a bottle...
Not just any tear...
This tear...so pure and sweet...from a soul that believed that “real men” don’t cry...was a simple joy...that meant so much...because it affirmed what I already knew...
God can touch
the coldest heart and
ignite a flame...
of love
and hope
and recognition of His glory...

Karen,
It is such an enigma, how a tear can bless. I'm pondering this simple joy. Thank you for stopping by my Laced with Grace post. I'm having fun over there!
Blessings!

That is beautiful, Karen. Thank God for touching hearts. You know, Karen, men have cried when I sang my song "He's My Lord" to them. Lord, touch our loved ones hearts.
That is such a teaser, Karen...... would love to hear more of the story.... you mention 'the coldest heart', so it isn't about one of your loved ones..... you are so gifted in your writing.
Thank you for posting and making me think.
Hugs and Blessings - Jan
What a precious and thought-provoking post Karen.
I am happy for whoever this
person was who was moved to
tears (a tear?) by an encounter
with the Lord.
Thanks for this touching piece
of the story.
Blessings,
Sandy
How precious!
During my Bible study time today I saw the revelation that I don't do anything of myself, but through the Holy Spirit. I understand the Bible because of the Spirit, I walk out my salvation because of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit is so precious to me. As is the whole trinity.
Your words flow so beautifully off of the computer screen, and into my heart sis. I love you.
Very intriguing indeed. And, I think, more than a simple joy for you!
Another beautiful post, Karen. You words always bless me.
Awesome. Such a sweet precious gift of the Lord so beautifully written. Blessings!

Beautiful! I could almost see this tear rolling down his face...
This awesome. Yes God can touch those who seem unreachable to us. Very beautifully written Karen.
