You Know You’re Really A Mom When…
You count the sprinkles on each kid's cupcake to make sure they're equal.
You have time to shave only one leg at a time.
You hide in the bathroom to be alone.
You hope ketchup is a vegetable because it's the only one your child eats.
You say at least once a day, "I'm not cut out for this job," but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything.

Blessings Karen... You know you're a mom or even a great grandma!!!
Laughed all the way through saying but ya' know that's true! Precious photos & captions! Now I know why I love you so much! You have a precious sense of humor & style!
I think my favorite was:
"I'm not cut out for this job," but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything."
...though the above average had me laughing... I think I'd pray for below average...
Thanks for a glimmer of JOY today, I did need this and may have to come back frequently today... or to your link (thanks, I need good clean humor)
Oh Karen, This was just great! I can truly say, without a doubt (as if I ever doubted) I'm "officially a mom" because I can say yes to these. LOL I remember when my first child was born, thinking "this is crazy! I'm having to decide, 'do I eat, shower, OR rest' in between those round-the-clock feedings!" (Those were the days when we had to choose between ONE of the many necessities of life.) And yes, that was just the initiation into "Official Motherhood!" Wouldn't trade it, though! :) Thanks for the great laugh today! Big hugs, sis! :)
super cute funnies!
Karen...these are the absolute best. Really made me smile and nod. have a great weekend.
lovely, so sweet. Have a great weekend!
Loved these pics and words :)
This is a very poignant post for me. It touched my heart. I'm a mom of two grown children and I remember the days you described. My daughter is going through a health crisis at the moment and when I saw the picture of the plaque that you posted, tears came to my eyes. You see, my daughter gave me that same plaque of the mother and daughter embracing, when she was still a young teen. Thank you for posting these pictures which brought back such lovely memories.
Living for and trusting Him, Joan
I LOVED THIS! Great post! Have an awesome weekend.
I remember wondering why my mom used to hide in the bathroom to eat chocolate when we were small.
Then I had my own kids.
Funny stuff, Karen.
Precious thoughts, and you've just described a typical day for me too, so just as much for dads as mums. (apart from the shaving the legs bit...)
I loved the cake batter pic. Too sweet.
Oh Karen I am so glad I saw this post! It really made my mommy day!!!
