A Belated Five Days...

image

with Carrie @ Thoughts, Ponderings, Musings

Tardiness is not a trait of mine...the earlier I can get somewhere or do something the better...but we know what is said about the “best laid plans of mice and men”...

So life happens and we can either deal with it or fall apart...

Aren’t you thankful that we don’t have to deal with it alone?

And if we do break, Someone is there to put the pieces back together?

For my last 5 days of Christmas sharing, I chose to share 5 little sweeties that are constant reminders to this Nanna...that childlike faith does not limit itself to the season of celebrating the birth of the Christ Child...but seeks the entire embodiment of our existence in... BELIEVING HIM.

My oldest granddaughter expressed it best

in her “letter” to Jesus...

Nothing more precious and beautiful
than children and grandchildren,
though I'm waiting to actually
know about the latter.
Katie's letter is so sweet and right
from her little heart I'm sure.
May this be their best Christmas
ever!
Hugs,
Sandy

T3 has certainly brought us to the core of our childlike faith. :)
Katie cracks us up constantly, but is such a believer and full of faith!
Beautiful!

Sister, I LOVE the child-like faith that children show . . . I pray that God will fill me with that kind of faith each and every day. Praying you have a wonderfully blessed Christmas . . . filled with His Presence!
Love and hugs,
Cherie

Blessings Karen... Belated but BEAUTIFUL!!! and I'm belated in sharing on your wonderful blessings of 5... each one beautifully named and awaited for... as now they too AWAIT and BELIEVE!

I love how you capture the essence of childlike faith in this:
"...does not limit itself to the season of celebrating the birth of the Christ Child...but seeks the entire embodiment of our existence in... BELIEVING HIM."

I wonder if this works just the same as 'we love Him because He first loved us' that we believe Him
because He first believed in us and WE BELIEVE HIM and WE BELIEVE in HIM... yes, Katie... He truly IS
and yes, Virginia, there is JESUS...

Thank you Karen for sharing from your heart and the ones closest to lifting your heart with their precious presence wrapped around you to call you back to the JOY of CHRISTmas amidst the sorrows, that GOD is ALIVE and HE IS WITH US!...in our hearts, in our lives, in our midst... He is here, He is near us, calling us to trust in Him!

Love and peace~BIG(((HUG)))
