Where is Your Appointment Card?

“We never know when our disappointment will be His appointment.”

Charles Swindoll

appointment card

Can’t find your appointment card?

No worries!

God’s Word is full of them!

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy!
Though I have fallen, I will stand up;
though I sit in darkness,
the LORD will be my light.

Thank you for a very encouraging reminder! Love it! I put your Scripture verse on my fb status. Dear sweet people need to be reminded of that one! What a blessing!

What a good reminder that God is always available. We go to books, to friends, to EVERYTHING and sometimes forget that the Creator of the universe is available.

Often, when I've wanted to speak with a counselor, yet couldn't afford one, something inside me said, "You can step into God's office free of charge. He is a great counselor and would love to see you."

Hi Karen -

This gave me more spiritual juice indeed - especially the scripture from Habakkuk.

Thank you so much.

This is one appointment that I will not miss!!

That verse from Micah - I just love it! It's such a resounding shout of victory.

I've fallen - but I WILL get up!!

GOD BLESS!

AMEN and Blessings Karen!!! You are so amazingly clever and filled with such creative, inspiration... I just love this and YOU!

I love the quote by Charles Swindoll and I'm counting on each disappointment to be His appointment.

I have my appointment card but perhaps I need a fresh one. So I'll dig into His Word and find one for every day in my "40 days away" and make a new habit a fulfilling one of God's Word prayed as I reflect
rather than worry.

I will stand up. I will rejoice. The enemy will not be able to rejoice, though I may have fallen, God forgives, and helps me up again.

He is my Light!

Praying He continues to be Your beacon of Light and continues to shine ever so brightly through you to us and those around you. Praying
also that someone will be a light and help to you to help you stand and see the light at the end of every tunnel of darkness! He is HOPE! He is Light! His name is Jesus! (so there enemy...squish...
you will not rejoice over us, we have a divine appointment!!!)
Glory! hallelujah anyhow!

Love, peace and JOY,
Peggy
(takes me awhile but I do get here)

This was special to my heart today. Micah 7:8 is a special verse to me...and I also like Micah 7:7, "MY God will hear me." Not only does He hear me, but He's already answered our prayers even before we pray...and yet still takes the time to listen to us pour our hearts out, even though He's already taken care of it!
Hugs! Sure have missed keeping in touch. .. was on spring break this past week, and have enjoyed touching base with everyone...
Love and hugs

I like the verse before it too.
"But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me."
