Make it your goal to live a quiet life,
minding your own business
and working with your hands,
just as we instructed you before.
Then people who are not Christians
will respect the way you live,

Oops... Didn't let you know I found you through WFW!
Have a great day!
WOW Karen and sweet blessings,
I never knew God's Word tells me to "mind my own business"... but I do like that first this tells me to make it a goal "to live a quiet life". Now that one I needed and I think I am doing that... Praise God or through His Holy Spirit!
I chuckled when I looked at your photo of venetian blinds with a peeker... May our daily life WIN the respect of others ... that we will lack nothing. Yes, a reminder never hurts. I will do my best to not be lying around, sponging off others. I depend on God but I know what it is like to have someone sponge off of you... been there, done that...through that I've learned to "do my own job" and hope others do theirs.
May God prosper you and may this Word add much wisdom to our lives as we depend on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our lives.
Praise the Lord for how He completes us, provides for us and
is so worthy of our respect and thanks! Bless us this day...
Grace, peace and JOY... with His love always,
Peggy
Love the photo you paired with this verse.
Great illustration of a worthy message. Thank you, friend!
Sometimes the Message version puts everything so bluntly...it works perfectly here!
Some wise words for us all. I love the graphic of man peeking through blinds. It really goes with the scripture.
Love these wise words and the
picture is great!
I also love your pearly gates
which I just noticed today.
Blessings,
Sandy
This is just too good. And true. Of course if God said it, we know it is true!
Serving Christ joyfully,
Pamela
