Guest Post: Prayer Request

Good Wednesday morning!
This is Carrie, Karen's daughter-in-law, guest posting for her today.

Last Friday evening, Karen fell and broke her right arm.  She is obviously unable to blog, so I am posting for her to ask for your prayers and thoughts as she will have surgery later this week.
I will post an update as I have one.
We thank you  in advance for your prayers.
Praise God for healing and provision during this time.

Blessings Karen and thanks Carrie...

Popped in because I thought they would be a WORD... so sorry to hear this news. I'm praying and sharing this one from Germaine Copeland...

A Healing Prayer

Jesus was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. I receive divine healing for my spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 53:3-5 (NIV)

The daily prayer is written by Germaine Copeland, author of the Prayers That Avail Much family book series.

You are always in my prayers but this will be a special time set aside daily to acknowledge Your Healer and Great Physician to attend daily, decrease any pain and bring you the best care! I pray that He is with you each day before and after and prepares all needed.
I trust that your recovery will be speedy. I know God's in control. May His arms wrap and hold you this week and the next. may He soothe and cover your every step. I wish I had asked that before you fell.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I only wish that I could be there and give you this in person...

(((HUGS))) Love and prayers,
Peggy

Hi there, Stopping to lift Karen up this minute and will remember her in the days to come. It isn't fun when we fall and aren't spring chickens anymore. Praying for the surgery and doctors involved.
Give her a gentle hug from me.
