His Name will be...Counselor

When you can’t see how...

When you are wondering why...

When you don’t know which way to turn...

When you need someone to plead your case...

When you just want someone to come alongside you...

An advisor

A teacher

An advocate

A counselor

Go to the One whose name is Counselor

His door is always open, but He would rather come thru yours.

His clock never stops - because eternity is His timepiece.

His fee was paid by spike driven hands that bled pure love.

His word is true

His path is sure

His plan is unfailing

His promise is everlasting

He is the promise

He is the One

Emmanuel

Jesus

bethlehem

For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder:
and His name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.

Ohhhh yes HE IS... the Name above all Names JESUS!!!

Blessings Karen,

I love how you are continuing with Isaiah 9:6 and "HIS NAME WILL BE...

So beautifully captured and your timing could not have been more perfect for me!
Your words light up the magnificence of His Name as Counselor!

I could not see how... and He is there as "Advisor"
I wondered over and over again "why" and He is there
as "Teacher" and "Counselor"
I did not know so many times which way to turn, meandered or managed my own way, and He is there as Shepherd...
Guide...
I needed someone to plead my case and He is there as Advocate...

I needed someone to come alongside of me and He sent His Holy Spirit, who nudged you to be there for me...

Thank you... your words are encouragement for me and I
ask God to continue to pour out through you and to you as "Wonderful" and "Counselor"...

Precious words that touched me and made me SMILE...
"His door is always open, but He would rather come thru yours.

His clock never stops - because eternity is His timepiece.

and then a twinge of pain followed by beautiful words
to capture the truth... but this one stood out...
"HE IS THE PROMISE"
not just that His Word is filled with His Promises that are pure, true, sure, unfailing, and everlasting (your words) but that because 'HE IS THE WORD', and the'WORD WAS MADE FLESH' ... but HE IS THE PROMISE!

Yes! Yes, HE IS... EMMANUEL

Awesome...
Thank you dear sister.
Much love,
Peggy

Loved that picture, Karen. It was haunting (in a good way!)

I've had some counseling in my life, and it was helpful. But, there is nothing like going to the Counselor Himself - the Lord. The One who knows how everything runs - how we think, what we feel, why we do what we do. He is the best therapy for the weary and lost soul.

And yes, He is also Counselor in the sense of the law. He is our Advocate. The One who stands up to Satan, our devilish accuser. He is the One who shows His scars and says, "Not guilty."

He is the ONE!

GOD BLESS!
