What the Lord Has Done in Me - TSMSS

There have been many changes in my life over the years. Hips have gotten wider, hair has grown thinner, eyesight has become dimmer, and this brain seems smaller. Likes and dislikes have changed with the seasons, knowledge has increased (but with all the brain shrinking going on, some of that knowledge stuff just leaks out and I don't know where it goes), and love for my family has grown.

One of the biggest changes has been in my walk with the Lord. Things I have heard and known my whole life have taken on new meanings in the last few years. I am amazed at what God has done for me and overwhelmed by the love I feel every moment of every day. Events from earlier years that brought confusion and doubts now are reflected on with the knowledge that the Lord was there...all the time...waiting and watching...and supplying amazing grace at just the right moment.

I love the song "What the Lord Has Done in Me" because it brings to remembrance some of the countless and glorious things He has done for me. My favorite verse says:

I will rise from waters deep,

Into the saving arms of God.

I will sing salvation songs;

Jesus Christ has set me free!

Hosanna, hosanna,

To the Lamb that was slain!

Hosanna, hosanna,

Jesus died and rose again!
