The Best Medicine...

Laughter Chain

I know four minutes is a long time to just watch people laugh, but there are some very unique laughs in this video if you can spare the time to watch....

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

It's nice to know that God invented laughter! It reminds me of how much He loves us...He knew we needed to lighten up once in awhile.

I wonder if God laughs?

Karen...thank you for the laugh. I love to hear uncontrolable belly laughs. I also believe that God does have a sense of humor. Look at some of the funny animals He created. Thank you for stopping by my post with words of encouragement.
Love and prayers, Carolyn
