Deeper in Love - TSMSS

Thanks to Amy for hosting Then Signs My Soul Saturday! Music has such a profound influence on so many of our lives...

Sadness can turn to happiness just by hearing the right words or melody...

Anger and strife can turn to forgiveness and peace...

Confused and unsure?

Music can sometimes calm the mind and spirit so that still small voice is heard more clearly...

Already happy and joyful?

Is there such a thing as being too jubilant?

The song I am sharing this week is a new one to me. While searching through new videos on Tangle, I came across this one and had to listen to it several times. The soothing music and beautiful lyrics instantly brought a calming to my spirit that was the perfect ending to a somewhat eventful week.

Two lines in this song were special because the first one voices a desire of my heart and the second one declares the conviction of my life...

How I long to be deeper in love...

Here in your presence forever satisfied...

Deeper In Love
There is a longing only You can fill
A raging tempest only You can still
My soul is thirsty Lord
To know You as I'm known
Drink from the river
That flows before your throne

Take me deeper
Deeper in love with You
Jesus hold me close in Your embrace
Take me deeper
Deeper than I've ever been before
I just want to love You more and more
How I long to be deeper in love

Sunrise to sunrise
I will seek Your face
Drawn by the Spirit
To the promise of Your grace
My heart has found in You
A hope that will abide
Here in Your presence
Forever satisfied

Oh, it's beautiful, both lyrics and the way it is sung. Isn't it just wonderful to be deeper in love? Is that a flute in the intro? I love the sound. Thanks for sharing.

This one really touched my heart this morning. I never heard this song before but the words and melody were indeed soothing to my soul. That is exactly where I want to be, closer to Jesus and in love with Him more and more!

Hey friend, hope you are doing well. Life has been kinda crazy here this past week. My oldest moved to Colorado. My 2nd born got bitten by a baby copperhead snake this past Thursday. I'm just now getting around to blog visits.

How's life in your neck of the woods?

Unfamiliar with this song. Glad you shared with us.

Also, these words hit me deeply:

"Sunrise to sunrise
I will seek Your face
Drawn by the Spirit
To the promise of Your grace
My heart has found in You
A hope that will abide
Here in Your presence
Forever satisfied"

Love you Sis.
