I Bless Your Name - TSMSS

CHAINS...

There are so many...

Fear

Discouragement

Sorrow

Depression

Hopelessness

Addiction

Busyness

Complacency

Bitterness

Pride

It’s time to let them fall in Jesus' name...

and give Him praise!

In prisoners' chains,
With bleeding stripes,
Paul and Silas prayed that night.
And in their pain
began to sing,
Their chains were loosed,
And they were free.

I bless Your Name;
I bless Your Name;
I give You honor, give You praise.
You are the Life, the Truth, the Way;
I bless Your Name;
I bless Your Name.

Some midnight hour,
If you should find,
You're in a prison in your mind.
Reach out and praise,
Defy those chains,
And they will fall,
In Jesus' Name!

We bless Your Name;
We bless Your Name;
We give You honor, give You praise.
You are the Life, the Truth, the Way;
We bless Your Name;
We bless Your Name.

You are the Life, the Truth, the Way;
We bless Your Name;
We bless Your Name.

O LORD, truly I am your servant;

I am your servant, the son of your maidservant;

you have freed me from my chains.

Psalm 116:16 NIV

Blessings Karen! Such a complete post! Beautiful song & scripture!
I love SELAH! The chain graphic (great) & your list of bondages to be broken by His blessed Name & in His power, truly must fall for freedom in Christ to be complete.

Thank you for a wonderful way to close my week & enJOY the weekend in freedom of Christ! Praying with you to let whatever chains or problems bind us to fall in Jesus Name & giving Him the praise!

Thanks for your visits & words of encouragement this week!

Oh! This is my FAVORITE Selah song.

The more I learn about Paul, the more I am in awe that God used this man to start his church, not just to start a little part of it, but to lauch the movement of Christ into the world with such passion and humility.

Great post this week.

what a beautiful song. Sometimes when we feel we are bonded to the world and there is no hope if we put our eyes on Jesus and bless his name our chains are gone thank you for reminding me this morning of this sweet fact

Such a powerful song!

Our pastor was talking about Paul and Silas and the praise that they sent to the Lord during their dark moment.

It is said that heaven is God's throne and earth is his foot stool.I once heard someone say as Paul and Silas was praising, God learn over to listen and began to tapping His foot bring on the earthquake.

love and hugs~Tammy

Such a chain breaking song, setting the captives free. Rejoicing with you in the chains of defeat than now lay at my feet. I've been unshackled by my King.

It's an honor to stand with you in the battle,
Sarah Dawn
