Word Filled Wednesday

Joseph's drawing

From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Psalm 61:2 NKJV

This is one of my favorite scriptures,

and the young artist of this powerful picture,

drew this for me to illustrate this verse.

Joseph is 15 years old.

He has enjoyed drawing for a long time,

but the past year he has been using his talent

to bring the scriptures to life.

He has an impressive portfolio of about

70 scriptural drawings

that are anointed by the Lord.

This young man gives glory to God for his talent,

and is quick to honor Him when others are blessed by his drawings.

And he calls me Aunt Karen....

WOW!!!

The passion in the photo matches the heart of that Scripture.

Joseph, well done! I know the LORD is leading your heart to do this.

I wonder what my favorite Scripture since I was a little girl taught to me by my Grandma would look like to Joseph: Psalm 27:13-14 KJV.

Would love to see more of his portfolio...please share...

Love you much Karen and thanks for the BLESSING today!

Aunt Karen,
Please tell this young guy what a BLESSING it is to see his work! I have a 15 year old who is living and writing for the Lord and I know it's not an easy thing..not always the way of the world!

Tell him that a reader in Georgia thinks that his drawings ROCK and that there is a generation that he can reach!!

peace to you for sharing this awesome word!!

He is using his talents to worship God, and to bless others.

That's wonderful!

It must take a lot of thought to illustrate scripture. Drawing a picture of a scripture would certainly etch that scripture in ones mind.

I wish I could draw!
