Word Filled Wednesday

lamb leaping copy

Oh, visit the earth,
ask her to join the dance!
Deck her out in spring showers,
fill the God-River with living water.
Paint the wheat fields golden.

Creation was made for this!
Drench the plowed fields,
soak the dirt clods
With rainfall as harrow and rake
bring her to blossom and fruit.

Snow-crown the peaks with splendor,
scatter rose petals down your paths,
All through the wild meadows, rose petals.
Set the hills to dancing,
Dress the canyon walls with live sheep,
a drape of flax across the valleys.
Let them shout, and shout, and shout!
Oh, oh, let them sing!

Psalm 65:9-13 MSG

Blessings Karen...Let us sing! Let us dance! Let us shout for joy! And leap like this precious lamb! May we clothe ourselves with the robe of Christ's righteousness! Great & Mighty is He!

Darling picture and beautiful verse!

As I was reading under your WFW, not knowing it was the Psalm 65 from your verse nor from the Message, I was thinking..."I've read this somewhere" but where?
Who? and before I arrived at the end, I was thinking it may be from Hannah Hurrad, "Hinds Feet in High Places" and then I find out it's His Word only in the Message...so next time I'll WAIT!

What a beautiful scripture of Elohim and El Shaddai! Thank you Karen! and thanks for the double blessing of 2 visits or maybe more!
You certainly are back and it's so good to share with you...and have you pour forth such beauty on us!

EnJOY a wonderful Wednesday in God's Word & with WFW and your family!

I love the photo Karen. And I have to say that The Message translation is perfect for it.

You know I love the name of your blog. I need to remember to say Hallelujah anyhow no matter what's going on in my life.

Blessings and love,

I started reading this, loving its poetic tones. I was surprised when I got to the bottom, and it was the Message! I guess it's time to put my NIV aside for a while and re-read the lovely Message...
