True Love

What is true love?

true love

Is it patient and kind, or is it intolerant of human weaknesses and frailties?

Is it jealous, or confident?

Is it boastful and rude or humble and respectful of another person's feelings?

Does it demand its own way, or does it do all it can to provide for the needs and desires of the other person?

Is it irritable because of the “have nots” or content with what God has provided?

Does it keep a record of he did/she did, or is the scorecard tossed into the wind and forgiveness echoed through the valley...

Does it give up when things get rough, or does it forge ahead to reach the top of the mountain and see the glory?

Is it hopeful for continual restorations, renewals, and revivals, or does it throw up its hands and proclaim, “I quit!”

Is it enduring?

Together till the end...

Till death do us part...

For 53 years, my parents have proven that true love is REAL...and pure...and holy...

A union sanctified by God and offered back to Him for His glory...will never fail...

True Love...

Not a fairy tale...or a movie...but real life...is an inspiration that this generation needs to see...

To know...

That because He is love...we can love...

True Love

Enduring Love

Thank you Mother and Daddy for all the times you brought to life this true love that Paul wrote about...

You taught your daughters that regardless of statistics...regardless of what the experts say...and regardless of society’s opinions and reflections...true love...steadfast love...is possible by His grace...

Happy 53rd Anniversary!

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

I Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
