Back at Horeb,
God, our God,
spoke to us:
"You've stayed long enough at this mountain.
On your way now.
Get moving.
Head for the Amorite hills, wherever people are living in the Arabah, the mountains, the foothills, the Negev, the seashore—the Canaanite country and the Lebanon all the way to the big river, the Euphrates.
Look, I've given you this land.
Now go in and take it.
It's the land God promised to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their children after them."

Wishing you a blessed Wednesday Karen.
Such a wonderful WFW.
Good post, Karen. Often I have stayed too long in the "desert" and failed to enter the fullness of His grace. Oh the joys that await us there.
Blessings,
Joan
Love it!! I like this part: "On your way, get moving"!
Amen...
Karen, this is so good...so perfect for where I'm standing...waiting to hear from the Lord on some things...waiting to hear, "GO." This confirms that the answer will come...in HIS time!
Thank you dear for sharing this one! Loved it!
peace,
lori
Well, I sure have been guilty of that in my life!!
Great word.
Have a blessed day♥
a good one for me....I am stuck with a mountain of accounting stuff and other paper work........and I have stayed miles too long at that mountain.
God's voice is powerful, and you have illustrated this beautifully, Karen.
I agree with this verse, of course. We do stay too long at that mountain, sometimes

Oh this is a good one for me, Karen. Sometimes we get stuck in ruts and have to be reminded to move forward. Blessings to you.
Such a wonderful word, Karen,
and one that I am studying
right now and getting ready
to post in the next few days.
Blessings,
Sandy
I needed this today! Amen!
Happy WFW!
Great picture and wonderful verse! Sometimes I feel like I have traveled that mountain long enough. I long to hear God speak these words to me. Thank you for sharing today. I receive these words!
Blessings to you today!
A great verse.
ooo Coool...blessings Karen... I really love how you did this and the beautiful photo you used!
However, the verse really speaks to me and I'm thanking you for the encouragement and blessing this is.
Love what you chose out of this verse to speak to me(us)!
So as of today, I have stayed long enough at the mountain of 'sorrow, grief'. And I'm on my way now (to His healing). I'm moving...ahead.
Now that's my 2010 theme...moving ahead... all the way to the big river (that was yesterday's watering was about... Living Water)!
I'm going in and taking back what the enemy took and holding on to the promises!
You see how you water me and care for the "ferns", I would never have looked in Deuteronomy and here you are with a great WORD for me today!
Thanks Karen!
Peace & (((hugs))) as you enJOY a WORD FILLED WEDNESDAY... hoping God fills you with a special WORD, too!
Peggy
Wonderful Words for today, Karen. Thank you and blessings, my friend.
AMEN! Great word! Many times we choose to stay on the mountain and we miss the blessing of the new land. Thanks for sharing. Blessings!!
wow. this is really making me think Karen...☺
God lets us stay in one place for a little while because He knows our needs. But He will always nudge us forward because He knows growth is so important.
Blessings,
Lyn
I so relate to this! The process down the mountain is still difficult but at least the promise land is in sight!
Great post! I agree with what Joan and Lori say. Happy WFW!
Beautiful. Blessings.
Sometimes it is clearly time to move. This is fresh bread for me today. thanks, B
Amen!!! This is powerful!
Thanks for sharing Sis!
Isn't it funny how much we love the comfort of sameness? So much so that we're willing to camp out in a place that isn't as good as the one God longs to lead us to.
What a great word. Thank you.
