It Will Surely Come…

To achieve a dream...

I will do more than belong – I will participate.

I will do more than care – I will help.

I will do more than believe – I will practice.

I will do more than be fair – I will be kind.

I will do more than forgive – I will forget.

I will do more than dream – I will work.

I will do more than earn – I will enrich.

I will do more than give – I will serve.

I will do more than live – I will grow.

I will do more than suffer – I will triumph.

--William Arthur Ward

For the vision is yet

for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak,

and not lie:

though it tarry,

wait for it;

because it will surely come,

it will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:3 KJV

Hi Karen,

I've never read Fountains of Faith but the quote you posted is inspiring. To know that day will surely come is reassuring. Until then, as Ward says, "I will...

Blessings and peace.

I love this!! What wonderful words to live by!!

As I go through life, I sometimes forget each of these things...and as we do...become self-focused intead of others-focused.

These words made me think of this--Jesus was never self-focused--always had His sights set on others and the love He and His Father had for them. And since we strive to become more and more Christ-like, what a wonderful reminder to me!!

Thanks for sharing this. I think I'll type and print this up...post it in a prominent place....

Oh Karen, thank you for sharing this! It's all too easy to look at the list on the left and think you're doing okay, when really you could be doing so much more!

Blessings Karen... AMEN! This is why one needs to come & visit sister bloggers to be lifted up and encouraged to achieve a dream or just to DREAM again! So inspiring!

Meanwhile...I WILL... participate, help, practice,be kind, forget, work, enrich, serve, grow, triumph!

...and focus like Habakkuk! Thanks Karen... guess I should have been online to be blessed as usual by you & others! Great encouragement!

Clinging to Him & thanking you for all you do to be Jesus to me!

Thanks, peace & love,
Peggy

Intentional living... that's is what this post says to me.

A message I continually preach... one I'm guilty of not always heeding.

Blessed weekend rest to you and yours.
