To Do – Later?

How do you manage your mailbox?

mailbox

No, the other kind...

windows mail

Subfolders and sub-subfolders work for my inbox.

My “To Do” subfolders include:

To do soon...

and

To do later...

Emails from family and friends, bills, and business correspondence go into the corresponding “To Do Soon” folders. Interesting links, forwarded stories and power point slides usually end up in the “To Do Later” file.

The largest unread sub-subfolder is dubbed “Inspirational to Read”...

inbox

This file has grown at an alarming rate in the past few months as time spent reading online devotionals, subscription newsletters, and RSS feeds has dwindled at a similar rate...

But God...

Draws me to this “Later” file during times of needed mini computer breaks...to a “randomly” (not really) selected word from any one of so many gifted writers...

The “Later” becomes “Right on Time”...

A needed encouragement...an inspiring message...or perhaps a dash of hope-filled humor...at the opportune moment...

He knows...

Just What We Need -

And

Precisely When We Need It The Most...

Never late...

Grace for the moment...

Exactly as He promised...

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

Romans 15:4 NLT

Beautifully written.

My inbox overflows at times, then I hunch down and take care of it.

The blessings are found, tucked away in the heart--and pulled back out when I lay down at night to try and sleep.

Many many songs you have posted in the past play softly in my head, and I have EVEN caught myself tapping my foot under the sheets to a few. I have to make myself stop that. Then a verse from a post. Maybe my own, maybe from someone else...but it's all blessings.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Blessings Karen... Do you really want an answer on the many folders I have?
I've stopped putting them in folders!
I label and star 'em!!! I have over 6,000 in my inbox (lol)... and probably 100 folders but you have your very own!!! When my emails are as full as yours or my Google Reader, I frustrate and just delete...(lol)! If you miss a day... wow...do they stack up so I can understand why you have so much!!!

I love the scripture you chose! We are NEVER late! God is waitin'...
I wonder if He feels like us with His mailbox. So thankful He has immediate Delivery and an Open email! Your message is inspirational once again but the message I got... because I need it,
OPEN GOD'S MAIL FIRST, HIS LOVE LETTER GIVES HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT when the others may bring more doom and gloom like our nation and the tragic events multiplied worldwide.
We need to focus on the "mail" that truly counts for eternity and relationships that are not so random or later but have an "urgency" for prayer! We as the Body of Christ need to shine more today than ever!!!

(as if you need this) I linked you to my SUPER SUNDAY...as I did others that I've read and hoe you don't mind! Your words are always such a blessing and this scripture
speaks a pretty good sermon of what God says or know we need! Thanks!

Peace and JOY, sis(((big hug)))

HE has no time... HE is ever in our moment.. Never early, never late.... Always on time..... We tap our feet while we wait.... HE just smiles because HE knows all..... We see part of the parade of our lives... HE is the grand master of that parade.. HE knows the beginning and the end...... Timing it is everything..

Karen - I know that you have often brought me "just the right word" at just the right time. God is faithful to His followers. And often, He brings His words through others. He always knows just what we need, and He gets the message to us - never late!

GOD BLESS!

This also makes me think of the song, "He's an On-Time God" by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

I also like the phrase you used "Grace for the moment ..." It's so true!

So true, Karen.....I have so many folders and things tucked away for further reflection....my folders truely overflow!

I stand amazed at how the Holy Spirit will remind me of a word, song, pix, scrip or pondering that I "just happened" to stumble upon on line. And it will be a fresh word/son/scrip, etc that my heart needed at that particular moment! Such a blessing!

Thanks for the encouraging post!

Blessings!
Jackie
