A Pause of Praise

A beating heart

The breath of life

Rhythms both in one accord

The flow pumps strong and the breath goes in and out

but in between is

the pause of life...

Love for her child surpasses all her dreams. When she thinks she

couldn't possibly feel more than at this exact moment, she

catches a glimpse of His deep unmeasured love and experiences

a pause of wonder...

Despair comes knocking.

Hope flees.

Faith falters.

But a

pause of grace

brings joy buried deep to the surface

and trust grabs hold of hope and doesn't let go.

Moments of pause

Chances to remember

Countless reasons to give thanks

“Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.”

Pause Reflect Praise

a

Pause of Praise

In the midst of worry...

As anger raises its fist to bruise...

As grief lays residence in a heart...

a

Pause of Praise

In times of joy and laughter...

When wonder and awe alight eyes and spirits...

During the flurry of turkeys and cranberries...

Between the roar of the game and the smell of tailgating...

Pause

Reflect

Praise

Let’s share

Pause of Praise

In God we have made our boast all the day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Psalm 44:8 AMP

... and I join you with the many PAUSES... a PAUSE of GRATITUDE for such an amazing attitude and ability to convey so much in your written words and PAUSES!

So Karen, I PAUSE and give thanks for you, not because it's Thanksgiving weekend, or a special day, but just because of who you are and have been to me. I'm so thankful, Karen, to God
that allowed us to cross our journeys and meet!

As I began reading your words I was reminded of the inspirational movie, The Dash... and you have filled the "dash" in your life with a little of life's finest spices... a dash of salt and a pinch of pepper. For you are salt as Jesus told us to be... Your words breathe life and are from the heart!
A heart that beats the love of a mother, sister, wife, grandma, friend but mostly a beautiful reflection of Jesus to me! Thank you!
(Selah)

"In God, I will make my boast all day long, and I will give thanks to His name forever..." for He is greatly to be praised and you inspire my praise to Him! (and I even thought calmly as I PAUSED!)

I hope your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as you made my bday and other days with your uplifting words written to me... thank you so much, Karen!

Love and BIG HUG,
Peggy
I got my Christmas tree up and twinkling lights around, and I hope to make ornaments from Ann's Jesse Tree... to hang along with my tiny snowmen, because I would not want some critters to crash the glass ornaments. It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas... hardly seems fair one comment from me to oodles from you, here, there and everywhere... may God pour blessings back into you for every one.

I love the idea of a "pause of praise!" Kind of goes along with being in an attitude of prayer.

God bless you, and I praise God for your uplifting posts.

I really enjoyed this, Karen. It was the perfect *pause* for me to have in this very busy day.

This is the part I liked the best:

"pause of grace

brings joy buried deep to the surface

and trust grabs hold of hope and doesn't let go."

I'm so grateful for the sense of God's presence that doesn't let go. Even when I falter, even when despair comes knocking - God holds my hand.

That is something to be very thankful for.

GOD BLESS!
