Can we talk tonight , Lord?
Oh, no...I haven't forgotten...
You are always here...always listening...
It’s just...
I need to hear that story again...
You know the one I like...
The story You tell me late at night...when I crawl up in your lap...and You hold me in Your arms...and gently move the burdens that are piled on my shoulders.
What, Lord?
Oh, yes...I can’t wait to met them! Paul...Silas...I want to ask them what they sang that night...but,
You are the One I long to see most of all...face to face...
not just heart to heart.
Please tell me again how You loosened their chains...so they could share freedom with that prison guard...
Praise Your name....You are my deliverer...
Oh, El-Shaddai...
Lord...You never had me bear the weight of physical chains...but those other chains...
Fear...doubt...pride...regrets...
Without those fetters...freedom would not be so cherished.
One touch of Your hand...and...link by link...my self forged shackles...
Fall at Your feet...
I praise You for who You are...
My Lord and my Saviour
My Hope
My Peace
My soon coming King
and
The Best Storyteller....

Can I come with you and crawl up alongside and listen to that story with you!!!
I heard each one break and fall...fallen chains and than the praise, praise, praise!!!
Thank You Lord! Thank you Karen! I fell as though I've been to the Throne Room with you!!!
Love your heart and prayer!
Karen, this is beautiful! So touching and personal. Just like a child coming for a bedtime story, only this one is so much better!
Blessings.
Thanks for letting us in oh such a sweet moment with the Redeemer. Thank you Father, that just as you did it for Paul and Karen, your ready and willingly to break the chains for us too. Bless your holy name.
This was just what the Great Physician ordered for me tonight! Recently my thoughts have turned to Paul and Silas, and how our Lord was their Midnight Specialist. Isn't it wonderful that we too can call on Him, no matter how late the hour is?? Yes, He is our Strong Deliverer! Thanks for this wonderful reminder!
I'm not sure what to say here. This is so beautiful. It really touched my heart.
I am right there crawled up in His lap. Karen, this is beautiful. Thank you.
This is so sweet, Karen.
A wonderful description of
His tender Father heart for
us.
Love,
Sandy
Dearest friend,
This is so beautiful and one of my favorites from Acts 16. The LORD is so good...so faithful and so ever present with us in times of trouble and at all times!!!
Beautiful sharing! I love you. I'm praying for you and your family this moment...
Hi Karen,
I stand with you and say, "Praise the name of the Lord, The Almighty, All-Sufficient God who loosed the chains that held us captive." -- El Shaddai

Like Lisa, this is one of my favorites. I absolutely love this. It's gripping to read your words here. I feel the Father inviting me closer. Thank you, thank you for praying and praising with me. HUGS and LOVE and PEAS(peace).
How soothing and comforting your post is, Karen! You expressed so well the longing to see Him face to face, not just heart to heart. Thank you for sharing this special blessing!

You always speak anointed words..... HIS word is alive and HIS spirit inhabits the words penned by those that love HIM..
So lovely...so heart warmingly told. Beautiful post!
That is powerful Karen... it brought tears to my eyes. I am long overdue to climb upon my Father's lap. This inspires me to get right back up there.
Bless you dear sister!
Beautifully touching sis.
I've been doing a lot of crawling up in my Father's lap recently. I find great comfort in the late evening hours when doing so. He's just so very real to me in those times. I've spent most of this day in his lap.
What a generous love he gives to me! I am blessed.
